The devastating earthquake in Nepal on April 25th, 2015 killed nearly nine-thousand people and left almost three-million in need. Far up in Ganesh Himal, northern Himalaya, sits the steep Ruby Valley, where hundreds died and every home was reduced to rubble or rendered unsafe. A month had gone by and no help had come to anyone in this remote, nearly inaccessible place. So, a group of villagers found tarps, food, medicine and walked it there themselves, feeding and helping people along the way.
